Summer Activities 2023
During our summer camp, we are preparing a number of activities both to support critical fund-raising for the development of the school and to continue to foster our community. Some are purely for grown-ups, some can be enjoyed by all the family.
The following activities are space limited, so please pre-register using the forms below to reserve your place.

Natural Soap Making

Italian Cooking with GianMario

Yoga & Meditation

Drop your kids and come and do yoga and meditation with our community’s own yoga teacher. Maria is trained in hatha/vinyasa and kundalini. She teaches a non-dogmatic, body and soul freeing style. She loves the physical part, we usually don’t move enough, do we? But the movement and the breath ultimately lead to a space of freedom and letting go. Truly all levels welcome.

Pizza & Natural Wine Tasting

Wood Fired Pizza Making Workshop & Natural Wine Tasting. Kids will make their own pizzas with l'Munfra pizzeria staff while parents enjoy wine tasting and prepared pizzas. Wine tastings: June 27th - Crealto, July 4th Bes - Bere e Sognare, July 11th, 18th - Cascina Val Liberata.
CREALTO Natural Winery and Vineyard Tour
Wednesdays (July 5, July 12)

Winery Tour, natural wine introduction and education, wine tasting with paired small plates, walk through the vines, engage nearby hiking trails, or relax at Crealto and enjoy the view.

Farm to Table Fundraising Dinner

This dinner is the dominant event fundraiser for VFS, organized as a “Farm to Table Dinner” in order to highlight the local and fresh ingredients of the Monferrato region. We are honored to have an international chef organizing and hosting this dinner, together with Nonna Iuli, owner and chef of Montaldo’s renowned local restaurant for over 50 years. Please consider supporting VFS by joining this special event evening, for high quality, beautifully presented courses served in the decorated ancient stone loft above Iuli Cascina. Separate prepared dining area with supervision will be provided for children.

Basket weaving

Basket weaving is almost as old as human history, taking fibres from the landscape and creating something useful, practical and beautiful. Learn how to weave with Gali Agnon.
