All participations in our Fundraiser will be entered into a draw for the following prizes. The winners will be drawn on the day of the fair December 8th, and you will be informed that day in case you won.
First Prize - Mountain Lodge Weekend AwayLuxuriously restored 17th Century farmhouse situated in a hamlet of Pragelato, Italy. 90 km from Turin, the lodge sleeps 12 adults and 6 children - Available for one weekend out of ski season. The valley in which the lodge is situated is a haven for outdoor activities: hiking and mountain biking in the National Park (including extreme uphill/downhill), horse riding, tennis and golf at a challenging course, angling in the rivers and lakes nearby and the opportunity to enjoy the area's excellent food and wine. Third Prize - A week of Summer Camp at Village Forest SchoolOne lucky child will have the chance to attend VFS Summer Camp in 2023. Previous summer camp week activities include 'Food and Farm', 'Drama, Theatre and Puppets', ' Arts and Crafts in Nature' and 'Survival and Forest Skills'. Just like the school, the camp is outdoor and nature based. There are bi-lingual staff and volunteers who are both mother tongue Italian and English.Based on the Waldorf education philosophy, children are freedom to explore everything in an imaginative and artistic way. Children will be immersed in organic vineyards and fields in the tiny hilltop village of Montaldo, with 25 acres of undisturbed nature for them to explore! In-house chefs prepare the children’s lunch and snacks during the camp with the same ethos that is followed during the school year, completely organic/free range and local meat. |
