Hi, I’m Iliana, a mother of three, educator, artist, and outdoor experiential leader from Bulgaria. For the past eight years, I have worked with natural materials, wool felting, and creative activities inspired by Waldorf education and nature-based learning. I was also part of the founding team of the first Waldorf-inspired kindergarten in Smolyan, Bulgaria. My training includes Waldorf early childhood education and outdoor experiential leadership through the University of Kassel. I currently lead a summer forest kindergarten on the Greek island of Lemnos and homeschool my children using Waldorf-inspired principles. I am passionate about nurturing children’s imagination, curiosity, resilience, and connection to nature, and I look forward to sharing this with the Village Forest School community.
Hi, I'm Alicia, a Home Economics Edupreneur and Founder of Project Flourish Community. I’m certified for nature-based education, hold degrees in Culinary Arts, Fashion Design and am currently completing my credentials for Educational Sciences. I empower learners, families and school communities to create nourishing meals, resilient homes and lifelong habits rooted in sustainability, creativity and care. I call South Florida home, alongside my husband (also a chef) and our 4 beautiful humans. I’m thrilled to share my approach to mindful eating with Village Forest School this Summer. Consider my kitchen-classroom a joy space for life-connected learning. Let's flourish!
I'm Felicitas and I'm a Waldorf music educator, violinist, and singer who uses music, painting, and storytelling to spark joy and connect people. Inspired by how music can unite communities across borders, I wrote my original music theatre piece Malala malt, which premiered at the Volksbühne Berlin in 2024. I am deeply passionate about nature and love to share how it is interwoven with folk music. Based in Berlin, I am a multi-instrumentalist and am fluent in Italian, English, German, French and Spanish.
Sebastian, a native Spanish speaker with fluent Italian, has theoretical knowledge and three years of experience as theatre, english and main teacher in grades 1st to 9th. He demonstrates great talent in the classroom and in group interaction. In addition to teaching, Sebastian primarily trained as a performing artist in physical theater, clowning, and circus, working with various international artists and training with numerous recognized masters in the field. He has worked with and founded two theater companies in Turin and one festival in México and tours theaters and public squares with his shows. This background allows him to have an expressive presence in the classroom, capable of conveying complex concepts in a simple, playful, and engaging manner. Thus, mathematics becomes a juggling act and history becomes a dialogue between different dramatized characters.
I'm Ludovico, a biodynamic farmer and survival instructor (with a national certification). I came to the land through contemporary art. My wife and I are custodians of a small piece of the Apennines where we work to reconnect with Mother Earth, through the study of herbs and constant listening to the wild. My family are part of a Waldorf community as our daughters attend the Bologna Steiner school where all the families are involved in the community life.
Hello, I’m Alice, an artist and educator currently teaching Fine Art & Philosophy in Sussex, England. Alongside my teaching, I run creative woodland camps for children centred around exploration, free play, and nature-based learning. Growing up in rural Devon shaped my love of the countryside, craft, and community, which continues to influence both my teaching and artistic practice. I am especially drawn to educational spaces that nurture curiosity, creativity, wildness, and spiritedness in young people through connection with the natural world.
Hi, I'm Anna. I am a Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher at Miquon School, a beacon of Progressive, nature-based education in Philadelphia, PA USA. I fell in love with teaching when working in a Waldorf Early Childhood classroom, where I cultivated my philosophy of whole-child, hands-on, meaningful, and nature-based learning. As an avid artist, mover, and maker, I am passionate about harnessing children's boundless creativity and imagination. And I believe from the bottom of my heart that true learning happens outside, in and with nature. I love being outside with kids, where their questions can lead the way.
Hola I'm Ariadna, a Kindergarten teacher who supports children with disabilities. I grew up in a small village in Mexico, giving me an appreciation of nature and a strong connection with people. I have experience teaching in different countries and in many different contexts, which has given me, among other things, the gift of being adaptable. While doing my Waldorf qualifications in Canada, l also worked at summer camp; this first experience was immensely valuable and confirmed that this approach to education was the right path for me.

Hi, I’m Elisa. I’m a Brazilian journalist, photographer and creative director currently based in Washington, DC, with over a decade of experience telling visual stories. Drawn to natural light and the poetry of everyday life, my work lives in the space between presence and observation, where moments are allowed to unfold without direction. Having lived in five different countries and being a mother of two, I’m deeply attentive to rhythm, attunement and human connection. I approach photography as a non-intrusive practice, believing that images can hold emotion only when the experience itself is protected — not shaped.
Kia Ora I'm Clare. I’m a passionate Foody who works as a kitchen specialist within a primary school as part of the Garden to Table program run throughout New Zealand.
